Thao’s Vietnamese coffees
Thao’s Vietnamese coffees are a legend in Vietnam – and now, here too in Newcastle!
As in Vietnam, the majority of Thao’s coffees are iced, and full of strong Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk. If you want the OG, try the Cafe Sua Da, which is strong and sweet.
If you’re a little daunted by strong Vietnamese coffees, or it’s a little late in the day, try one of the sweeter coffees, which have a little more milk in them and slightly less coffee. And don’t forget to ask Thao if you’re unsure what to go for, she has the knowledge and the skill to ensure you enjoy your Vietnamese coffee experience every time!
Peanut Butter
Iced milky Vietnamese coffee, with a shot of condensed milk, fresh whole milk, a layer of peanut butter smothered on the bottom half of the cup, and a shot of Vietnamese coffee.
Cafe Sua Da
The classic iced Vietnamese coffee, with ice, condensed milk and Vietnamese coffee. This one is the strongest of the lot, and, as we warn everyone, don't drink it too fast, and not too late!
Coconut
Iced Vietnamese coffee, with a shot of condensed milk, coconut milk, and a shot of Vietnamese coffee. Definitely brings back memories of hot, sultry days in Vietnam!
Salted
Iced Vietnamese coffee, with salted whipped cream on a layer of strong Vietnamese coffee. Creamy, strong, sweet, and salty!
Bac Xui Da
Iced Vietnamese coffee, with a shot of condensed milk, fresh whole milk, and a shot of Vietnamese coffee. The one to go for if the Cafe Sua Da scares you!
Caramel
The trendiest new iced coffee with a smothering of delicious salted caramel, whole milk, and Vietnamese coffee.
